Discarnect Master Switch, mounts to battery posts, including flat type. Designed for negative terminal To fit, remove your -ve battery lead and slip the clamp part of the Discarnect onto your battery post. Simply re-connect your negative battery lead to the lug on the Discarnect. You have to stretch it if you wish to fit to the +ve terminal. To immobilise the car unscrew and remove the knob. The by-pass fuse maintains current to all electrical circuits (alarm, stereo etc). As the starter motor draws over 150 amps, any attempt to operate or hot wire the starter motor will cause the fuse to blow, immobilising the car until the knob is screwed back on. Rated for a continuous load of 100 amps on 12 volt systems. This is for use on the EARTH TERMINAL ONLY
